Ben Fikkert is an established author of Tatting pattern books. This, his latest book, is packed with wonderful patterns and ideas. The paper back has 72 pages and 26 patterns all supported by 25 drawings, 26 photographs and 31 clear diagrams. This book is dedicated to small and dainty projects and contains bookmarks ,coasters, ornamental motifs including many snowflakes.

There are several patterns which  utilise the more advanced techniques in tatting but many that are ideal for new tatters too. However a comprehensive description of the special techniques are included in the first part of the book.   The more intricate designs are ideal for the finer threads and those tatters who enjoy a challenge!.
